Facebook Reaches 250 Million Users

Facebook have recently reached the 250 Million users mark.
Since its humble beginnings in Harvard, over 5 years ago, it has spread to all US colleges and High Schools and then to the rest of the world.
The site began as a predominantly youth based network, in recent times the site has enjoyed a 500% increase in the 55+ age group joining the site.
