Google Fastflip

Another handy application from the Google Labs team, fast flip allows users to leaf through the front pages of key online news providers, such as the BBC, Washington Post and billboard.com with ease.
The key feature I found interesting was speed, pages are loaded very quickly and the interface is quite intuitive.
Left right cursor control allows you to flip from page to page with no perceived load time or need to change browser window.
Each screen clicks through to the site in question, making drilling down into the news story simple and fast.

At its core fast flip is a screen shot of each news sites home page, packaged into an easily navigable resource.
With each screen shot coming in at around 50kB fast flip loads almost instantly.
A resource well worth checking out, kudos to Google for another handy application.
