@Anywhere is a new API service launched by twitter allowing bloggers and site owners integrate with the micro blogging platform.

@Anywhere at a very basic level converts twitter @ links to links to twitter profiles, e.g. @niall_flynn

Here at Rothco we have opted to add ‘hover cards’ which are essentially small roll over effects that are auto generated via users twitter @ handles.

For all your web masters and developers out there follow these 4 steps to get this live on your site or blog;

1. Register a New twitter App
2. Make Sure to give it read/write access
3. Get your API code (supplied during registration)
4. Copy the following code into the header of your site, replacing ‘xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx’ with your API code

Load you blog and all @ addresses will be converted to clickable twitter links, for more info head on over to twitter’s API docs to find out more.
